Dear Group:
for the first time, we have 3 bills before each body of the NY legislature (senate and assembly). The first two bills are to strengthen existing religious and medical exemptions and improve protections for parents, as schools routinely…
I just made $576 this week working from home for google. I cant believe how easy this is. Im recommending this to everyone, check out this guys google blog makemoneywith-google.com
I have been on this forum before, looking for information about sources and quality of whole foods mainly and have agreed with many of your postings here. Your reading list even encouraged me to add Animal, Vegetable, Miracle to my Kindle..... it's stilll in line behind lots of other books I have yet to read.
I have been wondering if you are the same Deverell Pedersen (I mean who else could have that exact name) who lived in Richmond in the 1980s and 90s? If so, we know one another, though I have change A LOT and would no longer remind you of the tailor from Fiddler on the Roof, as you once told me I did. PLease feel free to email me at madmadmadeleine@aol.com anytime. I hope you are well and also the Deverell I remember as you were one in a million...Madeleine

What book, article, film etc. caused your awakening?
it's been brewing for so many years and the influences are so far reaching that I'm not sure I can say. I can say that now, I'm in 'locavore' mode, a-la Animal, Vegetable, Miracle. I'm the Rockland county Chapter Leader for the Weston A Price Foundation (westonaprice.org) and a strong advocate of real milk (in particular) and real food (in general) all around.
What do you wish were different about your town/city
II'd like to see more people interested in accessing real farm fresh milk and meat. We need more educational resources, public caring and commitment, and general awareness. My family's fairly recently relocated to NY and we're pretty surprised at the general complacency, apathy and lack of awareness on the part of the public-at least those we've had much opportunity to rub elbows with.
Word of advice to those who are on the verge of their Awakening
Read, read, read. There will be no turning back, but that's ok, because going forward is the only right path anyway. Don't be immobilized by fear of not being able to make sweeping changes-baby steps count BIG!
